Junmyeon
Junmyeon, born Kim Jun-myeon on May 22, 1991, in Seoul, South Korea, is a Korean singer, actor, and musician best known as Suho, the leader and main vocalist of the boy group EXO. He joined SM Entertainment as a trainee after being discovered through the SM Casting System in the mid-2000s and trained for several years before debut. He debuted with EXO in 2012 as part of EXO-K and EXO-M, the Korean and Mandarin subgroups, releasing the EP Mama. As the group's leader, Junmyeon has been involved in vocal performance and stage leadership, guiding EXO through multiple comebacks and activities in Korea and China. In addition to group activities, he has pursued solo projects, including appearances on television programs and in musical theatre, as well as contributions to soundtracks. His work with EXO has contributed to the group’s international popularity and to the broader spread of K-pop. Junmyeon is commonly known by his stage name Suho, under which he has developed a career as a prominent figure in contemporary Korean pop music.
