Jooneintegraaliga

Jooneintegraaliga, also known as the First Integral League, was a political organization founded in Estonia in 1920. It was one of the first political parties in the country, emerging during the early years of the Republic of Estonia. The party was founded by a group of intellectuals and professionals who sought to promote social and economic reforms, as well as to advocate for greater political rights and freedoms.

The Jooneintegraaliga was a member of the Estonian People's Party, a broader political coalition that included various liberal and conservative factions. The party's platform emphasized the importance of individual rights, free markets, and limited government intervention. It also supported the idea of a strong, independent Estonia, both politically and economically.

Despite its liberal ideals, the Jooneintegraaliga faced significant challenges throughout its existence. The party struggled to gain widespread support, particularly in the face of the growing influence of more radical political movements. Additionally, the economic hardships of the 1920s and 1930s, including the Great Depression, made it difficult for the party to attract voters.

In 1932, the Jooneintegraaliga merged with the Estonian People's Party to form the Estonian Liberal Party. This merger marked the end of the Jooneintegraaliga as an independent political entity. The new party continued to advocate for liberal principles, but it faced ongoing challenges in establishing a strong presence in Estonian politics.
