Jogress, also known as Jogress Evolution, is a unique evolution mechanic found in the Digimon franchise, primarily featured in the *Digimon Adventure 02* anime and related video games. It allows two Digimon of the same level, typically a Champion or Ultimate, to fuse together, combining their attributes and abilities to form a single, more powerful Digimon. This new Digimon is usually of a higher evolutionary stage than its components.

The process of Jogress is not simply a matter of combining two Digimon. It requires a specific partner Digimon and a compatible Digimon. The resulting Digimon's appearance and power are often a combination of the two original Digimon, reflecting their shared characteristics. For example, the Jogress of Greymon and MetalGreymon results in SkullGreymon, while the Jogress of Gatomon and Aquilamon creates Aquagumon.

The Digimon who undergo Jogress are often referred to as "Armor Digimon" in the context of *Digimon Adventure 02*, though this term specifically refers to Digimon that evolve using Digimentals. The Jogress mechanic in *02* is distinct from Armor Evolution. The most prominent examples of Jogress in the anime involve the Digimon partners of the *02* DigiDestined, such as Imperialdramon (from Veemon and Stingmon) and Paildramon (from Veedramon and Stingmon).

Jogress Evolution serves as a significant plot device, often introduced at critical moments to overcome formidable adversaries.
