Itettian

Itettian is a constructed language designed for the fictional Iteten archipelago in contemporary worldbuilding. It is intended as the native tongue of the Itetten peoples within its setting, providing a linguistic framework for cultural practices, place names, and dialogue with neighboring fictional languages.

Phonology and writing: Itettian consonants include p, t, k, b, d, g, f, s, h, m, n, l, r, w, y; vowels are a, e, i, o, u. Syllable structure is typically (C)(C)V(C)(C). Stress falls on the penultimate syllable in most words. The language uses a Latin-based script called the Itettic alphabet, written left to right, with diacritics occasionally marking vowel length in formal texts.
