Isyanovas is a fictional city-state in the southeastern archipelago of the imagined continent of Seralia. In world-building contexts, it functions as a major maritime hub and cultural crossroads with a long mercantile heritage.

The name combines the local term for island, Isya, with novas, signifying new beginnings.

Geographically, Isyanovas sits on a sheltered harbor along the Isyan coast, with nearby islets and a tidal river delta. The climate is subtropical, with distinct wet and dry seasons.

Historically, Isyanovas developed as a medieval port under regional leagues, attained de facto independence in the 16th century, and was chartered as a republic in the late 17th century. It has since maintained trade ties across the sea.

Government is a constitutional republic led by a Mayor and a Council of Twelve, with universal suffrage for residents aged 18 and over. The council legislates and manages foreign relations.

The economy centers on shipping, shipbuilding, fisheries, and spice trade, with a permissive port regime that supports small businesses. The currency is the Isyan.
