Iskuaallopaine refers to a transient pressure with a rapid rise to a peak value followed by a decline that can be exponential or damped by structural or fluid damping. The temporal profile is typically modeled as a short-duration pulse p(t) with rise time t_r and characteristic width Δt, superimposed on any ambient hydrostatic or dynamic pressure. The peak and the impulse (the integral of p over time) are used to characterize the load, and the structure's response depends on mass, stiffness, damping, and boundary conditions.
