Irreálitás

Irreálitás, also known as irrealis, is a grammatical mood used to express various types of unreality, such as possibility, impossibility, doubt, or wish. It is found in many languages, including Hungarian, Spanish, and French. In Hungarian, for example, the irrealis mood is formed using the subjunctive tense, which is indicated by the suffix -h or -j after the verb stem. This mood is used to express hypothetical or non-factual situations, often in subordinate clauses.

In Spanish, the irrealis mood is formed using the conditional tense, which is indicated by the suffix -ía or -iese after the verb stem. For example, "If I were rich, I would travel the world" (Si fuera rico, viajaría por el mundo). In French, the irrealis mood is formed using the conditional tense, which is indicated by the suffix -ais or -ait after the verb stem. For example, "If I were you, I would study harder" (Si j'étais toi, j'étudierais plus).
