Intercisa
Intercisa was a Roman fort and municipium located in Pannonia Inferior, in the province of Pannonia. Its remains are found in modern-day Dunaújváros, Hungary. The fort was established around the 2nd century AD as part of the Roman Empire's defense system along the Danube frontier, known as the Danubian Limes. Its strategic position made it crucial for controlling river traffic and defending against incursions from barbarian tribes north of the Danube.
