Inkjettinta

Inkjettinta is a concept related to printing technology, specifically in the realm of inkjet printing. Inkjettinta refers to the operation of filling an empty ink reservoir with ink through an ink inlet, particularly when the tank is almost empty and there is little time left before the ink runs out.

This process is crucial to maintaining the overall quality and continuity of printing. Inkjettinta is associated primarily with piezoelectric inkjet printer heads, although it could potentially apply to other forms of inkjet technology.

During the process of inkjet printing, the printer's control systems track the different ink levels in the tanks. Typically, these systems are equipped with reserve tanks, which are filled from time to time. The amount of ink required to fill this reserve tank from the main tank is typically calculated and stored in the printer's memory. Upon notification that the ink in the main reservoir is running low, the printer will initiate the inkjetinta refilling process.

Manually intervening in the refill process, such as adding ink from the original bottle or exchanging the empty tank with a full one, is not directly related to inkjettinta. When newer ink is manually replaced with the existing filled reservoir, the process of painting (inkjettinta) involves transferring a small amount of the remaining ink from the full tank into it.
