InfluenzaAStämme
Influenza A Stämme refers to the different subtypes of the influenza A virus. Influenza A viruses are a major cause of seasonal flu in humans and are also responsible for pandemics. They are classified into subtypes based on two surface proteins: hemagglutinin (H) and neuraminidase (N). There are 18 known hemagglutinin subtypes and 11 known neuraminidase subtypes. Combinations of these proteins create different subtypes, such as H1N1, H3N2, and H5N1.
These subtypes vary in their host range. Some, like H1N1 and H3N2, are commonly found in humans.
The subtype of influenza A virus circulating significantly impacts public health. For instance, the H1N1 strain
