Immunsejtjei

Immunsejtjei is a term that refers to the cells of the immune system in Hungarian. These cells are a crucial component of the body's defense mechanisms, working together to identify and neutralize foreign invaders such as bacteria, viruses, and parasites, as well as abnormal cells like cancer cells. The immune system is a complex network of cells, tissues, and organs that protect the body from pathogens and disease.

There are numerous types of immunsejtjei, each with specialized roles. Key players include lymphocytes, such as B cells and T cells. B cells are responsible for producing antibodies, which are proteins that target specific antigens on the surface of pathogens. T cells, on the other hand, have diverse functions, including directly killing infected cells (cytotoxic T cells) or helping to regulate the immune response (helper T cells). Other important immunsejtjei include phagocytes like macrophages and neutrophils, which engulf and digest cellular debris and foreign substances. Dendritic cells act as messengers, presenting antigens to lymphocytes to initiate an immune response. Mast cells, basophils, and eosinophils are also involved in immunity, particularly in allergic reactions and defense against parasites. The coordinated action of these diverse cell types ensures a robust and effective immune response to maintain health.
