Ilmalennot
Ilmalennot, also known as weather balloons, are unmanned, high-altitude balloons used for meteorological observations. They are typically made of latex or synthetic rubber and are filled with a lifting gas, such as helium or hydrogen. Weather balloons are launched from ground stations and rise into the atmosphere, carrying instruments that measure various atmospheric parameters.
The primary purpose of weather balloons is to collect data on temperature, pressure, humidity, and wind speed
Once the balloon bursts, a small parachute attached to the instrument package allows it to descend safely
