Interstate 465 (I-465) is the beltway that encircles Indianapolis, Indiana. The freeway forms a continuous loop and serves as a key circumferential route for the Indianapolis metropolitan area. It is designed to facilitate bypassing central city traffic, connect suburban communities, and provide access to the region’s major interstates and commercial corridors. I-465 is maintained by the Indiana Department of Transportation.
