Huishouden

Huishouden is a Dutch term for the people living together in a dwelling who share resources and responsibilities. It is used in demography and economics to describe the basic unit of consumption, labor supply, and housing decisions. A huishouden can be as small as a single resident or as large as a multi-person household, including families, couples, roommates, or extended family members living under one roof.
