Homomerisiin

Homomerisiin is a term that refers to a type of polymer in which all repeating units are identical. These repeating units are called monomers. In a homopolymer, only one type of monomer is present. This is in contrast to copolymers, which are formed from two or more different types of monomers.

The specific type of polymerization mechanism, such as addition polymerization or condensation polymerization, depends on the chemical nature of the monomer.
