Hjerteslakk

Hjerteslakk is a Norwegian-language term that literally means "heart lacquer." It is not a single standardized product or concept, but a phrase that appears in several contexts. In crafts, hjerteslakk describes the application of lacquer or varnish to heart-shaped objects such as wooden keepsakes, ceramic medallions, or jewelry settings. The purpose is to protect, seal, and enhance color, as well as to create a glossy finish.
