HerculesCorona
Hercules Corona is a minor planet located in the asteroid belt between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. It is a small, elliptical body with a diameter of approximately 78 kilometers. The asteroid was discovered in 1976 by Nikolai Chernykh, a Soviet astronomer, at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory in Ukraine.
Hercules Corona has a highly inclined orbit, which takes it as close as 2.1 astronomical units (AU)
Despite its small size, Hercules Corona has been the subject of several studies aimed at understanding the
Hercules Corona has a surface albedo, or brightness, of around 0.2-0.3, indicating that it is moderately reflective.
