Hellanens

Hellanens is a term primarily used in historical and archaeological contexts to refer to the inhabitants of ancient Greece. The word itself is derived from Hellas, the ancient Greek name for Greece. During the classical period, the Greeks considered themselves to be a distinct group united by shared language, religion, and cultural practices, despite their political fragmentation into numerous city-states.
