Haulikoita
Haulikoita is a Finnish term referring to a type of firearm, specifically a shotgun. The word itself is a direct transliteration of the English word "shotgun" into Finnish. Shotguns are a class of firearms that are designed to be fired from the shoulder, and typically fire shells containing a multitude of smaller pellets, or a single projectile. They are commonly used for sporting purposes such as clay pigeon shooting and hunting, as well as for self-defense and law enforcement.
The design of a shotgun generally involves a smoothbore barrel, although rifled barrels are also available
In Finland, as elsewhere, the use and ownership of haulikoita are subject to legal regulations. These regulations
