HarmonyOS, also known as Hongmeng OS, is a distributed operating system developed by Huawei. First announced in August 2019, it is designed to run on a wide range of devices, from smartphones and tablets to smartwatches, televisions, and even Internet of Things (IoT) devices. The core principle behind HarmonyOS is its ability to create a unified, seamless experience across these diverse hardware platforms.
