HardinSimmons

Hardin-Simmons University is a private Christian university in Abilene, Texas. It is affiliated with the Baptist denomination. Founded in 1891, it was originally known as Frontier College. The university's name was changed to Hardin-Simmons in honor of its early benefactors, John G. Hardin and his wife, Jane Huckins Hardin, and Anthony and Eliza Beaumont Simmons.

The university offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs across several schools, including the Cynthia Ann Parker School of Nursing, the School of Education, the School of Business, and the College of Fine Arts.
