Hachiko
Hachikō was a Japanese Akita dog known for his unwavering loyalty to his owner, Hidesaburō Ueno, a professor at Tokyo Imperial University. Born in 1923 in Ōdate, Akita Prefecture, he was brought to Tokyo and lived with Ueno.
