Haaskausta
Haaskausta is a term derived from Finnish that literally translates to "dead body costing" or "corpse costing." It refers to the practice of calculating the costs associated with a deceased person's funeral, burial, or cremation. This can encompass a wide range of expenses, including the cost of the coffin or urn, the funeral service itself, embalming if applicable, transportation of the body, cemetery plot fees, headstone expenses, and any associated administrative or legal costs.
Historically, funeral costs have been a significant consideration for families, and the concept of "haaskausta" acknowledges
