HPAsüsteem

HPAsüsteem is a Finnish term that translates to "HPA system." HPA stands for High Pressure Air. In the context of airsoft gaming, an HPA system refers to a type of air-powered propulsion for airsoft guns that utilizes a compressed air tank. Unlike traditional AEGs (Automatic Electric Guns) that use electric motors and batteries, or gas blowback (GBB) guns that use Green Gas or CO2 cartridges, HPA systems provide a consistent and adjustable air pressure source.

The core components of an HPA system include an external air tank, usually filled with compressed air or nitrogen, a regulator that reduces the tank's pressure to a usable level for the airsoft gun, and a line connecting the regulator to the gun. The gun itself is modified with an HPA engine, which replaces the standard gearbox or gas mechanism. This engine uses the regulated air to cycle a piston, which in turn propels the BB.

HPA systems are known for their consistency in muzzle velocity, regardless of external temperature, which is a common issue for gas-powered guns. They also offer a wide range of adjustability, allowing users to fine-tune the air pressure and thus the projectile velocity. This adjustability makes them popular for players who need to comply with specific field limits or seek a highly customizable performance. While often more expensive upfront than AEGs or standard gas guns, HPA systems are favored by many serious airsoft players for their performance and reliability.
