H2O5
H2O5, also known as dihydrogen pentoxide or hydrogen peroxide dimer, is a chemical compound with the molecular formula H2O5. It is an unstable and highly reactive allotrope of oxygen. This compound is considered to be a peroxide of hydrogen and is related to hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). Its structure is thought to involve two hydrogen atoms bonded to two oxygen atoms which are in turn bonded to three other oxygen atoms, forming an O-O-O linkage.
H2O5 is extremely unstable and tends to decompose rapidly into oxygen and water. Due to its instability,
