Gümnaasiumi

Gümnaasium is an Estonian term referring to a type of secondary school. It typically follows the compulsory education provided by the põhikool (basic school) and is generally attended by students aged 15 to 18. Gümnaasium education lasts for three years, covering grades 10, 11, and 12. The curriculum in gümnaasium is more specialized than in põhikool, allowing students to choose elective subjects based on their interests and future academic or career aspirations.
