Grójec

Grójec is a town in central Poland, located in the Masovian Voivodeship. It serves as the seat of Grójec County and of the gmina of the same name. The town lies roughly 50 kilometers south of Warsaw, in the east-central part of the country.

Grójec is best known for its role in Poland’s fruit agriculture. The surrounding area forms the Grójec Apple Region, one of the country’s most important centers of apple production, with extensive orchards, storage and packing facilities, and related agricultural services.
