Groundearthing

Groundearthing is a term that refers to the process of connecting an electrical system or equipment to the earth. This is typically done for safety reasons to prevent electrical shock. When an electrical fault occurs, such as a wire touching a metal casing, the ground wire provides a low-resistance path for the current to flow to the earth instead of through a person who might touch the casing.
