Groddens is a fictional species native to the planet Xylos in the Andromeda galaxy. They are characterized by their dense, crystalline exoskeletons, which refract light in a spectrum of iridescent colors. This exoskeleton serves as both protection and a means of communication, with subtle shifts in color and pattern conveying complex emotions and intentions. Groddens are silicon-based lifeforms, deriving sustenance from the mineral-rich soil of their homeworld.
