Gracchus
Gracchus, also known as Tiberius Sempronius Gracchus, was a prominent Roman statesman and orator during the late Republic. Born in 154 BC, he was the son of Tiberius Sempronius Gracchus, a consul in 177 BC, and grandson of Gaius Sempronius Gracchus, a consul in 183 BC. Gracchus is best known for his reforms aimed at redistributing land and providing food to the poor, which earned him both support and opposition.
