Goldfield is a ghost town in Nye County, Nevada, United States. It was founded in 1902 after gold was discovered in the area. The town quickly grew and by 1906, it had a population of over 20,000 people and was the largest city in Nevada. The town was known for its booming gold mines, saloons, and brothels.
