Gnomeo

Gnomeo is a 2011 computer-animated musical romantic comedy film. It is a parody of William Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet. The story is set in the gardens of two feuding neighboring families, the Montagues and the Capulets, who are represented by garden gnomes. The Montagues are represented by blue gnomes and the Capulets are represented by red gnomes. The plot follows Gnomeo, a blue gnome, who falls in love with Juliet, a red gnome. Their love is forbidden due to the feud between their families.

The film features the voices of James McAvoy as Gnomeo and Emily Blunt as Juliet. Other notable voice cast members include Michael Caine, Jason Statham, and Patrick Stewart. Gnomeo was produced by Elton John and David Furnish through their company Rocket Pictures. The soundtrack features several songs written and performed by Elton John, including new songs and re-recorded versions of his classic hits.

Gnomeo was released on February 11, 2011, in the United States and received generally positive reviews from critics. It was praised for its animation, humor, and voice performances.
