Glättungsoperator

Glättungsoperator is a term used in signal processing and image analysis to describe a filter or function that reduces noise or high-frequency components in data. The primary goal of a smoothing operator is to reveal underlying trends or features by suppressing random fluctuations. This process is often referred to as smoothing or low-pass filtering.
