Ginsparg
Ginsparg is an American theoretical physicist and information scientist who serves as a professor at Cornell University. He is best known for creating arXiv, an open-access e-print repository for physics and related disciplines. The project began in 1991 at Los Alamos National Laboratory to accelerate the distribution of scientific papers and has grown into one of the most widely used platforms for preprints, with thousands of submissions daily.
