Generáltok

Generáltok is a Hungarian verb form. It is the second-person plural present tense (indicative) of the verb generálni, meaning to generate or to produce. When addressing more than one subject who perform the action in the present, you would use generáltok. The form is created by attaching the second-person plural ending -tok to the stem generál-, yielding generáltok. In standard spelling the word preserves the accent on the a of generál.

Morphology and usage: The form illustrates Hungarian conjugation by person and number: stem generál- plus the -tok ending for ti. It appears in ordinary prose and technical writing whenever a group is described as generating something in the present. Example: Ti generáltok adatokat a rendszerben minden nap.
