Ge72

Ge-72 is a stable isotope of the element germanium (atomic number 32). It has 32 protons and 40 neutrons, giving a mass number of 72. Ge-72 is one of the five stable isotopes of germanium, the others being Ge-70, Ge-73, Ge-74, and Ge-76. In natural germanium, Ge-72 accounts for about 27% of the atoms.

Because both its proton and neutron numbers are even, Ge-72 has a nuclear spin of 0 and positive parity. It is non-radioactive and does not undergo spontaneous decay under normal conditions, making it suitable for use as a stable reference in various measurements.
