Gasgas

GasGas is a Spanish manufacturer of off-road motorcycles with a long history in trial, enduro, and motocross disciplines. The company began producing their signature two-stroke and four-stroke bikes in the 1980s and developed a reputation for lightweight, agile machines designed for competitive riding as well as recreational use. Over the years, GasGas expanded its range to include enduro and cross-country models in addition to its trials lineup, and it built a presence in national and international competition.

In competition, GasGas established a racing arm known as GasGas Factory Racing, which supported riders in trials, enduro, rally, and related events. The brand’s motorcycles have been used by elite riders around the world in various off-road disciplines, contributing to its recognition among enthusiasts for handling and performance.

Corporate history in the modern era centers on its integration into the KTM Group. In the late 2010s, GasGas was acquired by KTM AG and was incorporated into the KTM Group alongside KTM and Husqvarna. Since the acquisition, GasGas designs and engineering have been aligned with the group’s modular platform strategy, with production and sourcing shared across brands while preserving GasGas’ distinct lineup and heritage. This arrangement has allowed GasGas to benefit from broader distribution, research and development, and manufacturing capabilities within a global off-road portfolio.

Today, GasGas continues to offer off-road motorcycles for competition and recreational riding, maintaining its focus on lightweight, nimble machines suited to trials, enduro, and cross-country riding, as part of the broader KTM Group family.
