Gammaarvoja, also known as gamma values or gamma correction, is a non-linear operation that encodes and decodes luminance or intensity values in image and video systems. It is used to compensate for the non-linear relationship between the electrical signal sent to a display device and the actual brightness of the light emitted from the screen.
