Galleriat

Galleriat is a term that appears in some sources as a definite form of the noun for gallery in Scandinavian language contexts, or as a stylized proper noun. In standard modern Swedish, the common word for a gallery is galleri, with the definite form galleriet; galleriat does not occur in ordinary contemporary Swedish usage. In Norwegian and Danish, the corresponding definite forms are typically galleriet, and variants ending in -at are uncommon in current prose, though older texts or regional dialects may show similar spellings.
