Gadoversetamid
Gadoversetamide is a gadolinium-based contrast agent (GBCA) used in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to enhance tissue contrast and improve the detection and characterization of lesions. It is a linear gadolinium chelate of a diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid–type ligand and is administered intravenously. As a GBCA, it shortens T1 relaxation times, producing brighter signals on T1-weighted images and helping to delineate abnormal tissues, vascular structures, and pathology.
Clinical use of gadoversetamide includes imaging of the brain, spine, liver, and other organs, as well as
Safety and regulatory considerations follow those of gadolinium-based contrast agents in general. Gadoversetamide can be associated
