GLON

GLON was a secure, distributed communication system used by the Soviet Union's military forces. Developed by the Soviet Ministry of Defense, it was designed for classified communication between military units and government officials. The system's primary function was to secure voice and text messages between approved users.

GLON utilized a variety of communication modes, including telephone, radio, and facsimile. Messages were transmitted in encrypted form, using a combination of cryptographic ciphers and secret protocols.
