Föglö

Föglö is a Swedish-speaking municipality of Åland, an autonomous, demilitarized archipelago region of Finland. Located in the outer part of the Åland archipelago, Föglö comprises numerous islands and islets, with most population and activity concentrated on a few of them. The municipality lies southwest of Mariehamn, the capital of Åland, and forms part of the archipelago’s maritime landscape.

The population is small, with residents living mainly along sheltered coastal areas.
