Féknyerget is a Hungarian term that translates to "brake caliper" in English. It refers to a component of a disc brake system responsible for slowing down or stopping a vehicle. The brake caliper houses the brake pads and the piston(s) that press these pads against the brake rotor. When the driver applies the brakes, hydraulic fluid is forced into the caliper, pushing the piston(s) outward.
