Furnierstreifen
Furnierstreifen, or veneer strips, are narrow sheets of wood veneer produced for surface finish or edge decoration of manufactured panels and furniture. Unlike full-surface veneers, strips are cut to narrow widths and can be applied to edges or used in marquetry and inlay work. They are typically produced from logs by slicing or rotary peeling, resulting in sheets about 0.2 to 0.6 millimeters thick; widths range from a few millimeters up to several centimeters, and lengths can extend to meters.
