Funktionsort

Funktionsort is a term used in asset management and maintenance management, notably within SAP Plant Maintenance (PM). It denotes a functional location within a plant where a defined function is performed, such as a subsystem of a machine or a section of a production line. A Funktionsort is typically represented as a hierarchical object in the asset structure and serves as an organizational unit for planning, recording, and executing maintenance work.
