Fukttäckning refers to the practice of covering soil with a layer of material to retain moisture. This technique is widely used in agriculture, horticulture, and gardening to improve water management and crop health. The primary goal of fukttäckning is to reduce water evaporation from the soil surface, thereby conserving precious water resources. This is particularly important in arid or semi-arid regions where water scarcity is a significant concern.
