Frieza

Frieza, also spelled Freeza in some translations, is a fictional extraterrestrial tyrant from the Dragon Ball manga and anime series created by Akira Toriyama. He is the ruler of the Frieza Empire and the commander of the Frieza Force, a disciplined military organization that conquers planets across the universe. Frieza is a member of the Frieza Race (often called Frost Demons), a humanoid alien species distinguished by their white and purple coloration.

Frieza serves as one of the series’ principal antagonists, appearing prominently in the Namek Saga of Dragon Ball Z and continuing to play a major role in Dragon Ball Super and related media. His goals typically involve expanding his empire, exploiting other worlds, and, at times, seeking immortality through the Dragon Balls. He is responsible for the destruction of Planet Vegeta and the near-extinction of the Saiyan race, actions that have lasting repercussions in the series.

Frieza is known for his ability to transform through several forms, each more powerful than the last, culminating in a final form that appears more compact and humanoid. In Dragon Ball Super, he also attains the Golden Frieza form, a powerful upgrade that demonstrates his continued relevance in the franchise. His combat repertoire includes energy projection, swift flight, and energy-based attacks such as the Death Ball.
