Freren
Freren is a municipality in the district of Emsland, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is located approximately 10 kilometers south of the Dutch border and 25 kilometers southwest of the city of Lingen. As of December 2023, Freren has a population of 5,181. The municipality covers an area of 54.56 square kilometers.
