Fornecessem

Fornecessem is a minor planet located in the asteroid belt, a region of the solar system between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter where many small celestial bodies, called asteroids, are found.

It is estimated that Fornecessem is approximately 10 kilometers in diameter, and orbits the Sun at an average distance of 2.2 astronomical units. This means it is situated between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter, where many small bodies like comets, asteroids, and smaller objects are located.

Fornecessem was discovered on January 18, 1952, by Swiss astronomer Miguel Itzigsohn. The name of this asteroid is derived from the Latin word "fornix," meaning archway, likely in reference to the characteristic shape of its trajectory through the solar system.

Studies on Fornecessem suggest that its surface is rocky and may contain metals. However, its composition and physical properties remain relatively unknown. It's worth noting that due to its small size and distance from Earth, there have been limited studies on Fornecessem.

Fornecessem is classified as an S-type asteroid, which means its surface is composed primarily of silicate materials. It's estimated to follow a nearly circular orbit, meaning its path around the Sun is close to being a perfect circle.
