Foneeminen
Foneeminen is a term used in linguistics to describe features of speech that can distinguish one word from another in a given language. These features are not necessarily tied to the individual sounds (phonemes) themselves but rather to the way they are produced or perceived. For example, in some languages, the pitch of a word can change its meaning, making pitch a foneeminen feature. Similarly, the length of a vowel or consonant, or the aspiration of a consonant (the puff of air released when pronouncing it), can be foneeminen in certain languages.
